PetHelsi
About the Project
PetHelsi is a HealthTech web platform connecting veterinarians and pet owners in a unified digital ecosystem. The platform allows pet owners to book appointments online, manage pet medical profiles, communicate with doctors via chat, and securely pay for services. Clinics and veterinarians can manage schedules, track appointments, access patient histories, and provide online consultations. The project’s goal is to digitize veterinary care, reduce administrative workload, and improve accessibility and user experience. The system is designed to be scalable, high-performing, and reliable, supporting growing clinic networks and high user traffic across devices.

Responsibilities
As a Frontend Lead on the PetHelsi platform, I was responsible for defining and implementing the overall frontend architecture using Next.js 16 (App Router), TypeScript, and TanStack Query. I led a team of three frontend developers, managed task breakdown, conducted code reviews, and established development standards to ensure scalability, maintainability, and consistent code quality. I designed and implemented complex application flows, including an interactive medical appointment calendar with dynamic scheduling logic, real-time availability updates, and role-based access for veterinarians and pet owners. I architected scalable state management patterns and optimized data-fetching strategies using TanStack Query v5 with caching.

Responsibilities
As a Frontend Engineer on the Solo Stove e-commerce platform, I was responsible for designing and developing reusable React components, such as product detail pages (PDP), mini cart, checkout flow, and order summary, using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) PWA Kit. I optimized the performance of the site by implementing strategies like code splitting, lazy loading, and tree-shaking, which reduced JavaScript bundle size by 40% and improved Time to Interactive (TTI) by 3.2s. I integrated Algolia search and Contentstack CMS to enhance user engagement and provide personalized shopping experiences, boosting user interaction by 32%. Additionally, I worked on payment integrations (PayPal, Clutch Gift Card) and security features (Google reCAPTCHA),
