OpenRec — macOS System Audio Recorder

– Used AI coding assistants to generate boilerplate for permission handling, audio pipeline setup, and menu bar UI, enabling a solo native macOS build with minimal handwritten code; – Built a menu bar and window application capturing system and microphone audio simultaneously as separate AAC tracks in one .m4a file; – Handled macOS permission flows for screen, system audio, and microphone recording and shipped the product as a distributable .app bundle with DMG packaging;
