About the Project

Existing e-commerce platform used by online stores across different industries. Consists of a customer-facing storefront and an admin panel that store owners use to manage their shop. The product was already in production, so the work focused on extending and maintaining it.

Responsibilities

- Developed new features and maintained the existing storefront and admin panel in React, integrated with a Django back-end. - Fixed bugs and improved existing functionality in a live product used by stores in different industries. - Worked in a team on an established codebase, following its conventions and release process.

Ordering ecosystem for a Canadian quick-service restaurant chain. Includes a tablet-based POS app for restaurant staff (order flow, order status tracking, order history, integrations with payment terminals, card readers and receipt printers), a web app for customers to order food online, and an admin panel for managing the restaurant's operations.

Responsibilities

- Led development of the React Native (Android) POS app with a local SQLite data layer, covering order flow, order history and hardware integrations (payment terminals, card readers, receipt printers). - Built the customer-facing food ordering web app and the admin panel in React with Next.js, with back-end services in Node.js. - Worked directly with an international client in an Agile/Scrum setup.

About the Project

Mobile chat app built with React Native and Expo, where conversations are organized by region. Users chat with people in their area, share their location on a map, and send photos and videos. Published on both the App Store and Google Play.

Responsibilities

- Led development of the app in React Native with Expo. - Implemented regional chat, location integration and map views, and photo and video sharing in conversations. - Handled the full release process, including building and publishing the app to the App Store and Google Play. AI-assisted development: used Claude Code throughout the project for scaffolding, implementing features and refactoring, with project-level conventions defined in CLAUDE.md and custom slash commands for repeatable tasks.

About the Project

Mobile app for tourists, residents and local businesses on Ibiza. Users browse vendors on a Google Maps view with vendor pins, search vendors and offers, and redeem offers with a QR code to get discounts at the vendor. Includes user profiles, login and photo uploads. The platform also includes a web app with a calendar and list of events happening on the island, and an admin panel for managing the data shown in both apps.

Responsibilities

- Took over an existing mobile app built by previous developers and brought it to a stable, production-ready state: fixed bugs, reworked existing features and improved reliability. - Worked on the Google Maps integration with vendor pins, vendor and offer search, offer listings, QR code redemption, user profiles, authentication and photo uploads. - Fixed and extended the events web app (event calendar and list) and the admin panel used to manage data in both the mobile and web apps. AI-assisted development: used Claude Code to refactor the inherited codebase and build new features, with an AI-assisted code review flow and other routine automations around the development process.
