Tech Stack & Architecture

When should I introduce caching (Redis) in my architecture?

Answer:

Add caching when you notice clear issues: slow endpoints, repeated expensive queries, or high infrastructure costs. Don’t guess. Measure first, then cache the busiest paths (sessions, rate limits, read-heavy data). Redis is excellent, but it also introduces operational complexity. For MVPs, a well-indexed database often outperforms “premature caching.”
