About the Project

I led a project to build a workflow that notified our users if they had placed restrictions on an agreed-upon contract that could relieve us of liability but might negatively impact their business. After delivering the MVP, I encountered challenges in effectively communicating these contractual details to users. To address this, I collaborated closely with the Product Owner and other stakeholders, building dashboards to identify pain points and solve the issue incrementally. On the technical side, I implemented an event-driven architecture using Kafka to consolidate and compute data from multiple sources. This involved overcoming challenges with dependencies that were unclear at the start of the project. Making the system reliable required

Scale processing 10X (100K -> 1M/day) (Agoda)

About the Project

There was a product called cancel and rebook where i worked for one quarter. The initial goal of the project was to scale it so it can process candidate bookings from 100K to 1M per day thus increasing revenue. The architecture was defined but there were some issues. First challenge was to migrate an api service to a query service where it scales well. This migration alone was very challenging, since there were lot of fields/data which were ambiguous and needed careful consideration before implementation. I helped mitigate most of them by discussing with the stakeholders. at some point it looked too risky to completely migrate so i kept both services in production and used hadoop logging to find discrepancies. About the Project

In the integrity organization I built an e2e solution, where i automated a manual workflow. I am proud of this project because I was driving it all on my own, working as a product owner, developer, UX designer. I built both the frontend and backend, making it easy to use for non-technical people. At that time there were a lot of non developers who were doing this manual jobs and often times they faced many difficulties. But this product ended up savings hundreds of work hours. It involved running some scripts behind the scene after taking manual input from the UI and create merge request automatically. Subsequent changes made into the UI would create different versions of the same MR making it easier to track historical data

About the Project

Worked on Galaxy wearable device companion applications on both iOS and Android for Implementing UI features with Swift.

About the Project

I led this project end to end. This project was about optimising precheck failures from certain suppliers that can lead to booking loss, to replace it with inventories from other available suppliers, through careful orchestration across core bookings engines in Agoda (Booking creation, Pricing etc) I collaborated with three core service owner teams and led design reviews across the teams. Resolved conflicts, finalised design, created miltstones in JIRA and took full ownership from implementation, visualization and logging.
