About the Project

**NDA** is a B2B2C SaaS platform that connects companies needing professional drone inspection and imaging services with qualified independent drone pilots. The platform supports the end-to-end workflow of commercial drone assignments, from creating and coordinating inspection projects to managing pilots, processing collected data, and delivering results to business customers. It serves use cases across infrastructure, real estate, energy, and other industries requiring aerial inspection or imaging. The product combines customer-facing workflows, pilot operations, data processing and rendering, and integrations with multiple backend services.

Responsibilities

- Backend modernization: Refactor and modernize Go services, improve existing implementations, and integrate internal and external APIs. - Observability: Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability to make production behavior easier to diagnose. - Frontend modernization: Own a major Angular rewrite of the legacy frontend, including architecture, migration strategy, implementation, and backend integration. - AI-assisted engineering: Set up and refine an AI-assisted development pipeline, including agent instructions, task decomposition, context management, automated validation, and review workflows for reliable agent-driven development. - Technical ownership: Take modernization and troubleshooting tasks from investigation through implementation and production validation.

B2B Gas retail chain portal

About the Project

A large-scale B2B fleet fueling management platform for one of Ukraine’s top three fuel retail chains. The platform serves a broad customer base ranging from smaller businesses to major enterprise organizations operating large vehicle fleets. It enables corporate customers to manage their fleet fueling operations, including vehicles, drivers, fuel cards, transactions, spending controls, and other operational workflows. As a mature business-critical product with an established customer base, the platform required continuous development while maintaining compatibility, stability, and reliability across existing workflows.

Responsibilities

- Legacy system development: Maintained and evolved a large, mature Angular application, delivering new functionality alongside targeted refactoring and technical debt reduction. - Production maintenance: Investigated and resolved defects across an established codebase while minimizing regressions in business-critical workflows. - Feature development: Implemented new product requirements within legacy architectural constraints and existing customer workflows. - Cross-platform collaboration: Coordinated with the mobile engineering team to align functionality and behavior across web and mobile applications. - Technical consulting: Contributed to technical discussions around backend modernization, including potential refactoring and rewrite strategies. - Codebase modernization: Identified opportunities to improve maintainability and incrementally modernize existing frontend architecture without disrupting production functionality.

About the Project

A digital workflow and e-signature platform serving US state and local government organizations. The product enables agencies to replace paper-based processes with configurable digital workflows, document processing, approvals, and electronic signatures, supporting complex administrative processes within a single platform.

Responsibilities

- Feature ownership: Owned and developed major areas of the application and delivered new UX-focused functionality. - UI architecture: Developed and maintained a reusable component library built around a customized Angular UI framework. - Modernization: Initiated and delivered significant refactors and dependency/library upgrades across the legacy codebase. - Quality & reliability: Investigated and resolved complex bugs, UI inconsistencies, and workflow issues. - Product collaboration: Worked closely with product design to improve usability and UI quality. - Backend collaboration: Coordinated with backend engineers to diagnose cross-stack issues and clarify functional requirements.

Origin Digital

About the Project

A fixed short-term contract to help the Origin Digital team with moving from a proprietary data visualization library to an open source solution.

- Estimation for all of the expected changes. - Consultancy on choosing the best solution for data visualization. - Delivering refactored and remade features every week. - Writing unit tests and fixing others' failing unit test pipelines. - Writing documentation. - Help with Angular libraries upgrades.

EV charging ERP

About the Project

A client from Singapore wanted to build an ERP that would enable easier management of their EV charging station network, with the possibility of white labeling. It also included features such as real-time monitoring of charger statuses, a dashboard with rich visualizations, and log viewing.

Responsibilities

- Estimation for the frontend part of the project. - Full responsibility for the frontend from the ground up based on Figma designs. - Implementing some of the backend features, such as streaming live logs, charger statuses, and dashboard data. - Communication with the client during the whole process.

Perishable goods logistics app MVP

About the Project

The client wanted to have a logistics app that consists of a desktop (web) version and a mobile app. The main goal was to optimize delivery times for perishable goods such as dairy products for the German market.

Responsibilities

Although I was a Junior dev at the time, I had quite the impact on the project: - Persuaded the team to use PrimeNG instead of Angular Material to save dev time on delivery and support of components. - Pushed the Nx to make components and some utilities easily reusable between desktop and mobile versions. - Developed and maintained a BFF with Nest.js and Express to avoid putting extra logic on both frontends. - Maintained communication with the client during meetings and helped other team members to better understand requirements.
