Nagios vs Checkmk: which is easier to run at scale?

Checkmk builds on Nagios core but automates much of the monitoring setup, auto-discovers hosts and services, and provides strong dashboards, making large deployments faster to launch and manage. Nagios on its own becomes complex at scale. For large fleets, Checkmk is usually much easier.
